Passive houses in Selo pri Ihanu equipped by Jelovica
In collaboration with investor JUBHome, Jelovica has equipped a settlement of ten passive houses in Selo pri Ihanu. The first residents moved into the contemporary single-family houses with gardens in the spring of 2022.
Jelovica equipped the new houses with Jelopasiv passive wooden windows, which ensure the highest energy efficiency and living comfort. The architectural concept of the passive houses also included large fixed glazing and sliding walls, which light up the interior and open views of the beautiful surroundings.
In addition to the passive insulation system, the energy consumption of passive houses is also significantly reduced by passive windows and their proper installment.
The investor considered the correct orientation of the houses and the sensible placement of the joinery. Large fixed glass surfaces and passive panoramic walls were thus installed on facades oriented from southeast through south to southwest. In this way, the windows will contribute to passive solar heating in the winter, while in the summer, shades and deciduous trees in the gardens will provide appropriate shade.
